Terms of Service

These terms cover Website Watch, a website monitoring service provided by Beaconvera LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as Owlworth ("we", "us"). By starting a free trial or subscribing, you agree to them.

What the service does

We check the website you give us from outside, on a regular schedule, from more than one location in the United States. We check whether it responds, the status of its security certificate, its secure (https) redirect, its domain expiry, and whether the website link on your Google Business Profile points to it. When we confirm a problem, we notify you by the email or phone number you gave us. Paid plans also receive a monthly report.

With your permission, we may fix configuration problems we can reach — for example a certificate, redirect, DNS record or your Google Business Profile link. We do not edit your website's code or design, and we will ask before changing anything.

Free trial

The free trial lasts 30 days and includes alerts but not the monthly report. No payment details are required and nothing is charged automatically when it ends. If you want to continue, you subscribe with the link we send you.

Price, renewal and refunds

The paid plan costs $299 per year, billed in advance through Stripe, and renews every year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to ethan@owlworth.com; cancellation stops the next renewal. If you ask within 30 days of a payment, we refund that payment in full.

What we don't promise

Monitoring tells you about problems; it does not prevent them. No check catches every outage — a very short outage can fall between checks, and we deliberately wait to confirm a problem before alerting you so you don't get false alarms. We are not responsible for your hosting, your website, or losses caused by downtime, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

Your part

You confirm you own or manage the website you ask us to watch, and that the contact details you give us are yours. If you give us access to settings so we can fix something, you can revoke it at any time.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms we'll email active customers before the change applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Questions: ethan@owlworth.com.
